Mark Zuckerberg has made his intentions clear to the market that his platform isn’t going to settle anytime soon — the guy who created Facebook always yearns for more. As Facebook recently rolled out a few updates that aided page owners and users of the platform, this time, the advertisers have joined the party.
Different organizations have different capabilities and constraints. Whilst some have a big digital team that takes care of the whole advertising and marketing duties — like an in-house Digital Marketing Agency — others (generally, small businesses) let an Online advertising company take care of their digital presence. However, this update might save a lot of money for both the parties — how?
As it turns out, Facebook’s Creative shop team came up with some simple tools and methods that could convert still images into videos. The tool’s been made so simple that a person with a decent knowledge of video creation (including beginners) can attain the benefits of the service. So, Facebook has now given its advertisers other opportunities to explore synergies with the platform.
Let’s have a look at the options that will be available for use:
Video creation kit:
Let’s discuss the tool first.
The ‘Video Creation Kit’ allows users to convert text and images into videos. The tool offers users four templates to choose from, for different requirements:
1. Sell multiple products:
This is a 6-second long video-ad that serves the purpose of highlighting a specific selection of products, driving sales and promoting special offers.
2. Promote a product:
Again a 6-second video-ad that specifically focus on a single product to generate awareness and the potential sale.
3. Show product benefits:
This solely focuses on one product in order to highlight its features or its working. This is a longer video as it requires some explaining to do — the ad is 15-seconds long.
4. Drive product discovery:
A 15-second video focuses on your brand awareness and its USPs.
Ad-format includes choosing between a ‘Single-video’ or ‘Slideshow’. Not to mention, it is a built-in tool on both Ads Manager and your Page Publishing Options.
The term is self-explanatory. The feature allows users to crop the video into different aspect ratios.
“You can crop your video ads to 1:1 and 4:5 for feed, 16:9 for in-stream and 9:16 for stories. Cropping your video ads to the recommended aspect ratios will help your ads fit seamlessly into the ways in which people are consuming content in different environments.”
This will help you create the videos in the right format that can fit-well into screens of different sizes.
Simple Video Creation Tools:
“For advertisers creating ads directly from their business Page, specifically on mobile, our new simple video creation tools help you quickly create templated videos from Page assets such as photos and company logos. This tool provides an effective and easy way to create eye-catching video ads that look great on mobile, without major investment, in-house skills or additional assets.”
In a nutshell, this tool will help you create fancy videos like a cakewalk and build a better brand reputation on a minimal budget.
